YSL Loveshine Takes Over Athens — An Aerial Product Activation by DRNS

On March 28th, the sky above Athens transformed into a stage of light, beauty, and emotion as DRNS delivered an unforgettable drone light show for one of the world’s most iconic beauty brands: Yves Saint Laurent Beauty.


To celebrate the launch of the new Loveshine gloss, the city became the stage for a truly unique light show in the sky — a sky-high celebration of luxury, technology, and beauty unlike anything seen before.


The show opened with the iconic YSL logo glowing high above the city in vibrant pink hues, immediately capturing the attention of everyone watching. Moments later, a heart-shaped piñata formation created entirely with drones appeared in the sky and dramatically “burst” open in a visual explosion of light, revealing shimmering confetti-like animations that set the tone for what followed.


After a brief transition, the moment everyone had been waiting for arrived — the Loveshine gloss appeared in radiant pink, glowing confidently against the night sky. For the first time, the product itself took center stage, making it clear what this entire spectacle was leading up to.Moments later, a single pair of lips appeared — slowly being painted by the Loveshine gloss, revealing its rich pink color, intense shine, and an irresistible finish that made the product truly covetable.


Right after, the Loveshine name emerged in glowing light — bold, elegant, and instantly recognisable — further cementing the product's presence at the heart of the experience.

This was followed by a playful cascade of floating kisses and stylized hearts, bringing a touch of charm, softness, and emotion to the sky. To close the show, the iconic YSL logo reappeared in full brilliance — a powerful finale that lit up the night and brought the entire narrative full circle.


For DRNS, it was the perfect example of how immersive drone technology can transform a product launch into a powerful brand activation.


A luxury brand like Yves Saint Laurent Beauty chose to innovate once again — and the result was one of the most modern and forward-thinking product activations ever seen in Greece.It captivated attention, turned heads, and made its presence felt far beyond the night of the show.
